$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hdevtools 

hdevtools is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hdevtools package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hdevtools *

You will get with hdevtools package name, version, architecture and description in a table

hdevtools package basic information:
